The earnest and enthusiastic commis sioner makes a not her effort to organize a Teachers’ Institute for the county, and in the commendable undertaking he merits the sympathy and co-opera tion of every teacher in Fairfield cot?iir ty7 Other counties have organized associations of this .kind and they are already doing a useful work. Don’t forget the call. a Registration.—The registration of voters preparatory to the vote on the question of “license” and “no license” began Monday and the books will be kept open during each day of this week until Wednesday evening at six o’clock. Everybody 7 is or should be interested in the solution of this ques : tion, and it is therefore,unnecessary to say that every one legally entitled to vote should be duly registered before Friday, the dav of the election. The registration managers should see to it that no one registers who is not enti tled under the law to cast a ballot. ? ritis proper and reasonable precaution hits taken in time may save trouble and perhaps difficulty on the day of the election. Crops at the “Corner”.—Mr. W. B. Estes, of Feasterville, has forward ed a report to the commissioner of agriculture upon the condition of the crops in that section.
