Wateree Items. Everything is moving along well in this section- labor plen tiful, the farmers well up with their work and the health of the community good. Mr. J. D. Rawls is doing some fine work on his bottom lands, preparatory to planting them in corn, by building levees so as to prevent an overflow. Mr. F. A. Neil is preparing to build a new home in the near future. A good number from this sec tion attended the Hallford-Wil lingham nuptials. Miss Daisy's many friends were loath to give her up as she was a great favor ite with every one who knew her. Mr. T. L. Johnston's saw mill has been moved to White Oak, where it is being kept quite busy. The Mt. Olivet congregation has recently put in a new organ. Misses Nannie Blaine and Bes sie Johnston have been on a short visit to the parents of the former at Blackstock, Mrs. Rosa Gettys of Long town and Little Frank are visit ing her aunt, Mrs. F. A. Neil. Mr. J. H. Neil is spending this week with relatives in this community at the home of his boyhood days. Mr. Will Johnston has re turned from a business trip to Chester. Mr. W. A. Neil of Flint Hill spent Sunday with Mr. F. A. Neil. Mrs. Jane Rowe is visiting at White Oak. Misses Berta Durham and Ida Wylie of East Wateree are the guests of Mr. F. A. Neil to-day.
