GUYSOTTSIMPROVED EXTRACT OF Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla, FOR the cure of all diseases or disorders generated by impure blood. Its great success justly entitles it to the name of the Great American specific. So far as it is known it is universally appreciated, and many eminent physicians use it daily in their practice with the most happy effects, and r?*rtifv Hot it i* Hip I,pet extract in existence, and ; the only one that stands the test of time. Every year adds to its great popularity, and multiplies its astounding ourcs. The victim of Hereditary Scrofula, with supporting glands, honey-combed flesh, and caries eating into his bones, finds Guysott's Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla balm for his affliction, llis horrible torments are assuaged, and liis malady not only relieved, but per- I: fectly cured. It may be safely asserted, from tho results of past experience, that " Dr. Guysott's Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla," is, beyond all com- 1 parison, the most wonderful remedy on earth for the following diseases, and all others proceeding from vitiated blood: Scrofula, or King's Evil, Rheumatism, Obstinate Cutaneous Eruptions, Pimples or Pustules on the face, Blotches, Boils, ? Chronic Sore Eyes, Ringworm or Tetter, Scald Head, Enlargement and Pains of the Bones and Joints, Stubborn Ulcers, Syphilitic Lumbago, and Diseases arising from an injudicious use of Mer- ii curv, Acites or Dropsy, Exposure or Imprudence tl in Life, Liver Complaint, Ague and Fever, Inter- J h mittingFever, Cholera Morbus, Dysentery, Diarr- I e ha?a, Plethora of Blood in the Head, Piles, Pains tl in the Back, Sides, Breast or Loins, and all forms l of Muscular, Glandular, and Skin diseases. il It is a sovereign specific for General Debility, I and the best renovator for a Broken Constitution. I It braces and reinvigorates every organ, promotes o actictity and regularity in every function, and e produces that condition of the whole physical sys- I tern which is the best security for long life. o Let all who wish to purge the blood from the C ' /* ? i-.i r .. impurities contracted trom tie iree iiiauigeuce ui a the appetite during the winter, and to prepare the b system to resist summer epidemics, resort now to t] "(iiivsott's Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsapa- ? rilla," which is proving itself an antidote for many of the most malignant diseases that flesh is heir to, and they will never be disappointed, for in / this remedy the public faith has never wavered? f never can waver; for it is founded on experience, r< just as their want of faith in other and spurious tl compounds is also founded in experience. They o fly from mineral nostrums to seek hope, life, and vigor from this purely vegetable remedy. There- u fore, however broken down in health and spirits, however loatliesome to himself and others, lot no C one despair of recovery ; let the patient only tin- 1 derstand that this hope of physical restoration e lies only in " Guysott's Extract of Yellow Dock fi and Sarsaparilla," and persuade him for his life's sake to try it, and we have no hesitation in pre- a dieting his speedy restoration to health. As a means of regulating all the functions ot woman's delicate organization, it has no equal in materia rncdica, and at that critical period of life when the first stage of her decline commences, its cordial and invigorating properties will enable " her to pass the crisis safely. it? C O* The following is from the pen of Win. H. Levison, Esq., the distinguished editor of the U S. Military and Naval Argus, under date New York. January 2G, 1850. What could be more " conclusive ? ' It is seldom we permit ourselves to occupy a space in these columns to speak in praise of any article in the patent mehicino way; hut when we see the life of a fellow-creature saved hy the use of j any medicine whatever, we consider it as our o right, il not our duty, to give a simple statement | t of facts, that others may, in like manner, he bene- j fitted. The case which lias induced us to pen this article was that of a young lady ofour acquaiti- | tancc, who by frequent exposure to the night air, contracted a Cold which settled on the Lungs lie- ~ fore its ravages could ho stayed. (This occurred two years ago this winter) Various remedies were used, hut with very little effect or licnclit.? The Cotnrh crew worse, with copious expectora tiit::, and tin- sunken eye, and pale, hollow cheeks, ' told plainly that pulmonary disease was doing its worst on her delicate frame. The family physician was consulted, and although he would not admit to the young lady that she reallv had the Consumption, yet he would give no encouragement as to a cure. At this crisis her mother was persua- d ded to make use of a hot tie of Dr. Rogers' Compound Syrup of Liverwort and Tar, and we arc ^ happy to state she was perfectly cured in less than three months hy this medicine alone, alter even hope was destroyed. It is useless to comment on i such a case as this, lor the simple truth will reach I * where polished liclion never can. If any doubt die authenticity of this statement, let them call at this office.? U. S. Military and Sural Argus, So. 19 Chatham strut, S. Y. Testimonies of the N. Y. We have hoard of' several important cures recent- ' ly effected hy this excellent medicinal preparation, I el and in one instance that came under our obseiva- I tion, we can speak conlid.uilly.
