^ , The Trice of Corn*.?The fine rains we have lately had, and the fine prospect of the corn crop, together with an abundant oafs and wheat crop, have reduced the price of corn in Greenville from $125 per bushel to 75 cents and it is still falling!?Greenville Patriot. The Rice crops on the Savannah river, says the Savannah ATornhtp News in consequence of the frequent rains arc backward, and little if any harvesting will commence before the first of September. The crop, it is thought, will not be more ^ ^han an average one. Duath fkom IIvdiioi'jioiha.?The "Wilmington (DeL) (lazette mentions the death of Capt. Enoch Williams, near Cape May, of hydrophobia. He was bitten about five weeks ago, by a dog | belonging to a negro, in Brandy wine village, on I the hand, from which at the time lie suffered no | serious inconvenience. He went on board his f vessel, lying at Brandywine, and showing his sore hand to the mate, informed him that he had been bitten by a dog, which elicited the qucs tion, "Suppose the dog was mad ?" Capt. W. replied, " I guess there is 110 danger of that." Earlj last week he was in Philadelphia, and feeling unwell,, lie determined to go home. The rr Captain reached his home, and shortly after, wards was attacked with the dreadful disease, and continued to rave until death entled his sufferings. lie was a young man about thirty years of age. TO THE SICK. 1 For the effectual rooting out from the system of all diseases brought on by indigestion, hilliousness and impurity of the blood, it is a widely ami we'd known fact that WRIGHTS INDIAN VEGETABLE PILLS are the great PANACEA. Throughout the entire' South, these Pills have long been held in the highest repute, both by private individuals and by the Medical faculty of our country. Southern fevers and Southern diseases generally, yield to their influence at once; and the unfortunate victim to "earthly ills and woes'' is made to thank Heaven that a sovereign balm has been provided. Let each try them for himself and if the medicine fads to Batisfv, the experiment shall cost him nothing. Thos. J. workman, Agent for Camden, S.
