SHAW 4 AUSTIN ; ; /v-;v THE GREAT SUMMER MEDICINE !* DR. GUYSOTTSIMPR)VED EXTRACT OF I Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla, FIR the cure of all diseases or disorders gene- 1 rated by impure blood. Its great success justly entitles it to the name of the Great Ameri cau specific. So far as it is known it is universally apprecia- 1 led, and many eminent physicians use it daily in their practice with the most happy effects, and certify that it is the best extract in existence, and the oidy one that stands the test of time. Evefy year adds to its great popularity, and multiplies its astounding cures. The victim of Hereditary Scrofula, with supporting glands, honey-combed flesh, and caries eating into his bones, finds Guysott's Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla balm for his affliction. His horrible torments are assuaged, and his malady not only relieved, but perfectly cured. It may be safely asserted, from the results of ?|st experience, that "Dr. Guysott's Extract of ellow Dock and Sarsaparilla," is, beyond all comparison, the most wonderful remedy on earth for the following diseases, and a'l others proceeding from vitiated blood: Scrofula, or King's Evil, Rheumatism,.- Obstinate Cutaneous Eruptions, Pimples or Pustules on the face, B otches, Noils, Chrouic^Sore Eyes, Ringworm or Totter, Scald Head, Enlargement and rains ot tne cones ana Joints, Stubborn Ulcers, Syphilitic Lumbago, and Diseases arising from an injudicious use of Mercury, Acites or Dropsy, Exposure or Imprudence in Life, Liver Complaint, Ague and Fever, Intermitting Fever, Cholera Morbus, Dysentery, Diarrhoea, Plethora of Blood in the Head, Piles, Pains in the Back, Sides, Breast or Loins, and all forms of Muscular, Glandular, and Skin diseases. It is a sovereign specific for General Debility, and the best renovater for a Broken Constitution. It braces and reinvigorates every organ, promotes actictity and regularity in every function, and produces that condition of the whole physical system which is the best security for long life. Let all who wish to purge the blood from thi. impurities contracted from tie free indulgence of the appetite during the winter, and to prepare the system to resist summer epidemics, resort now to "Guysott's Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla," which is proving itself an antidote for many of the most malignant diseases that flesh is heir to, and they will never bedisajijxnnled, for in this remedy the public laith has never wavered? never can waver; for it is founded on experience, oc ilioir wani of faith in other and SDUriotlS compounds is also founded in experience. They fly from mineral nostrums to seek hope, life, and vigor from this purely vegetable remedy. Therefore, however broken down in health and spirits, however loathesome to himself and others, let no one despair of recovery; let the patient only understand that this hope ot physical restoration lies only in " Guysott's Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla," and persuade him tor his liieV sake to try it, and we have no her-itation in predicting his speedy restoration to health. . As a moans of regulating all the functions ot woman's delicate organization, it has no equal in materia medica, and at that ciitical period of ife when the first stage of her decline commences its cordial and invigorating properties will enable her to pass the crisis safely. ifj None genuine unless put up in large bottles containing a quart, and name of the Syrup blown in the glass, with the written signature S. A Lovely Young Lady cured of Consumption. (IT The following is from the pen of Wm. II. Levison, Esq., the distinguished editor of the lT S. Military and Naval Argus, under date New York. January 26, 1850. What could be more conclusive ? "It is seldom we permit ourselves, to occupy a space in these columns to speak in praise of any article in the patent mebicine way: but when we see the life of a fellow-creature saved by the use of any medicine whatever, we consider it as our right, it not our duty, to give a simple statement of facts, that others may, in like manner, be benefitted. The case which has induced us to pen this article was that ofa young-lady ofour acquaintance, who by frequent exposure to the night air. contracted a Cold which settled on the Lungs before its ravages could be stayed. (This occurred two years ago this winter) Various remedies ' were used, but with very little effect or benefit ? I lie ^UU?ll grrw Willi 1-^ pr-i.il/itf- j lion, and the sunken eye, and pale hollow cln-eks, ! told plainly that pulmonary disease was de i.ir i's ! worst on her delicate frame. The family physician was consulted, and although he would net ad- j mit to the young ladv that she really had the Consumption, yet lie would give no encouragement as to a cure. At this crisis her mother was persuaded to make use of a bottle ot Dr. Rogers Compound Syrup of Liverwort and Tar, and we are liappy to state she was perlectlytured in less than I three months '>y this medicine alone, alter even j hope was destroyed. It is useless to comment on f such a case as this, for ihe simple truth will reach j where polished fiction never can. PEPSIN is the chief element, or Great Digesting Principle of the Gastric Juice?the Solvent of the Food, the Purifying, Preserving, and Stimulating Agent of the .Stomach and Intestines. By the aid of this preprration, the pains and evils of INDIGESTION and DYSPEPSIA are removed, just as they would be by a healthy Sto.r.ach.
