The H. sales on Monday and Tuesday were 15,000 bales, of which Exporters took 5000 bales. On \\ ednesday, the sales of cotton were 10,000 bales, the market buoyant and exports active. Ihisinessat Manchester was not active. The attempt to assassinate the Queen of Spain was made while site was leaving church, with her infant in her amis, by a Jesuit Priest named Mkkino. The Queen received two poignard wounds, both, however, slight. The vidian was arrested and executed at Madrid.
