I An Ordinance, TO prevent Swine and Goats from running at large within the Town of OaiT.deii. 1. lie it ordained by the Intejidant and Wardens of the Town of Camden, in Town Council assembled, and it it is hereby ordained by the authority of the same, that from and after the ratification of this Ordinanue, no person or persons shall permit or suffer his, her or their Swine or Goals to run at large within the limits of the town of Camden, anil it shall he the duty of the Marshal, and he is hereby authorized and requested to employ persons to seize and secure every and all such Swine or Gnats so running at large, to impound the same in the Public Pound, prepared for that purpose, situated on iMarket-street, in the town of Camden, 2. And bo it further ordained, That upon impounding any of said Swine or Goals, the Marshal shall immediately advertise the same at the Court House in Cornden, giving a full and corresponding #h,c..rir>tir,n and should tho owner or own ers thereof appear within I wo days thereafter, and offer satisfactory proof of and to said property, then the Marshal is authorized and directed to deliver to him, her or them the same, upon the payment of one dollar as a fine hereby imposed upon the owner or owners of every Swine or Uoul which may be found so running at large and impounded as aforesaid. 3.
