Sunday School was well attended, the Su porintendent?and his?corps of teachers were on the job. After the lesson was taught for thirty minutes the Supt. reviewed it. It goes without saying that the Supt., Mr. b. R. StarksT reviewed it so clearly that even the smallest child could understand. :At 11:30, we listened to a splendid sermon rendered by our ' ? own Kev. w. E. Farmer. During his sermons he makes the worst kind of sinner feel happy. A great wave of spiritual enthusiasm swept through the church At 5:00' o'clock, a program was given by the Missionary Board-under?the-direetien ot Mrs. E. A. Starks, those whc were" on the program, and those who weren't were ready to reilder their services. The music ?was rich, charming and beautiful. Mr. II. R. Riddick. the efficient organist, arid his loyal Junior choir better kuown as the young Choral Club rendered very appropriate selections. At 8 P. M. the pastor preached d-lielpfu 1, In!eie.sl.ing and-iiiaph - ring sermon. Collection for the uay was. line. Masonic Convention was hold at this church Monday. Dr. L. "M, Daniels read an interesting paper introducing the Grand Master, Dr. C. C. Johnson of Aiken, S. C. In the absence of both the Supt. and the assisstant Supt. our pastor took the over sight 'of the school. The attendance was splendid, about $9.00 was collected. The lesson _ was summed up by the pastor, - Jwho gave a^vfvld description of the voyage of St. Paul and the ? ship-wreck. The pastor told the yuulig people that each" one is upon life's sea; and that each one has his Fair Haven of sunshine of Youth with its fair weather, but there wfere storms of temptations, cyclones of doubts and &wfuh eurochydons of nppositon^, but t>y rrf flnirl "all may come safo to landing 11:30 P.
