Watchman! What of the night But lo, there is no answer, no sound from Jjie One who for many years had inswfered this call on New Years night, in Bethel AT M. E. Church. He has answered to the call of death, and yet there comes an echo irom afar, saying, "It is well- with thy soul." iDaniel Miles was one" of our oldest eitizensr for he had passed his 85th birthday. He passed away last Thursday and was buried in Randolplj^5tem: Wary. He was one of old Bethel'^ first members and had served his God and church well. He was an ordained minister and. had, charge-of the sacramgnt at his church on every 1st Sun&y. ^ at Hia? trade, that of carpenters. As he if raw older hu had to give thistre to take care of his truck farm. _.Mr,_MilesJhad.passed his 50th year of married life. His wife, three two great-grands survive him.
