Young Dead A gloom w.is cjtst over our community yesterday morning by the aiiiiouueeiuent that (Kissed from one toanother that Mrs. John L. Young wes dead. She has I teen sick for some time and has suffered a great ileal, and her death was not unexpected. She has I teen quite prominent Itoth in social circles and in the good works of the town. Her influence for good and her works will live after her. The funeral services wer.? held in the Presbyterian church, and her remains were laid to rest in the town cemetery which owes its lieauty in a large measure to her work and influence. She was public spirited and took a prominent pait in every enterprise for the good of the town or the jM-ople. She was noted for her kindness to those in need, and her oj?en hand of charity was ever extended to the poor cud suffering.
