There was a considerable drop In the temperature and the heated term of September Is broken up. ? Joseph Huseman was severe'y cut with a pocket knife Saturday evening by a neighbor named Bush. They live very close together in Twltty grove. They had words about the dog of one of them killing chickens belonging to the other and then they got together and Hush drew his knife and began to cut Husernan. The worst wound was on the arm. This ought to be the largest and most attractive exhibit of Poultry ever held In the State. Many of the business men of the town have contributed money or valuable premiums. Prof. Meares feels considerably encouraged by the help he has received, but he hopes to get more as he Is anxious to make this a first class show. The people of the county should take a decided Interest In the Poultry Association. Our business men should help with small contributions. Let us all work together so as to make this a great success.
