Another Chapter In the Bicycle Steal? ing Case. The preliminary hearing in the case against Seymour and Cannon for buying a stolen bicycle from Richard Toung, was held in Florence Friday. R. D. Epps, Esq., appeared for the prosecution. A strong ease vas made out against Seymour and he was bound over for trial at the lext term of the Court of General Sessions. There was not sufficient evidence to hold Cannon and he was dismissed on the motion of Mr. Epps. Mr. Epps was accompanied by Messrs. H. La, Tisdale, Bruce Ly nam and S. W. Rumph, who were witnesses for the State. Mr. Epps also succeeded in recov? ering several of the wheels for which he took out claim and delivery | proceedings last week. Mr. Tisdale improved the opportunity to locate two more stolen wheels, which were recovered. It was a rainy day and not many wheels were out on the stree t, so Mr. Tisdale did not have a favorable opportunity to see the wheels In use in Florence. It would be a good Idea for those who lost wheels and have not yet recovered them to employ Mr. Tisdale to scout around Florence a few more days. Moral good Is a practical stimu? lus.?Plutarch.
