Mr and Mrs L D Taylor and family spent Sunday at the home of Mr H H McConnell. Messrs Baxley, Venters and Oweni of Choppee were in thi3 community Sunday. Miss Belle Altman was the guest of Miss Mabel Haselden Sunday night. Mr J Eaddy of Johnsonville is visiting at the home of Mr J B Oliver. Miss Grace Parsons visited Miss Pearle Mixon Sunday. A number of people from here attended Field Day in Kingstree. Every one reported a very pleasant day, even if the morning was rainy and unpleasant. The latter part of the day was good, and the athletic contests were especially enjoyed. Mr and Mrs W 0 Camlin and children and Mrs Martha Ammons of Bloomingvale were visitors at the home of Mr W A Moore Sunday afternoon. Misses Thelma and Bessie Marshall were in Andrews Saturday. Mr Will Evans was a visitor in this section Sunday. Mr C K Feagin was in Trio as a visitor Sunday. Mr W W Altman and family were at the home of the former's mother Sunday. Mr uiaastone 01 ueorgetown was a visitor at "Clearview Farm" Thursday afternoon. The B Y P U is doing good work. Interesting and instructive talks are given at each meeting and we think each one who attends derives some benefit. Rev Gibbons preached at Johnsen Swamp Baptist church last Wednesday and Thursday nights. The youngest child of Mr and Mrs J A Barrineau is very ill. Rev Tucker of Georgetown will conduct services at Harmony church next Sunday. Red Crow.
