B. Matthews Dead. ? Benson, May 24:?Mrs Matthews, the wife of Mr R B Matthews, died I Friday afternoon, May 7, 1915, at 5:30 o'clock, at the home of her hus- ^ band near Benson. Mr Sumter M Bradshaw, for a number of years Magistrate at Greelyville, and one of Williamsburg county's most highly respected citizens, died at his home at Greelyrille early Monday morning from heart failure. Mr Bradshaw had been in poor health the past year, hrving suffered a stroke of paralysis last spring from which he never entirely recovered. He was thrice married and is survived by lis third wife, who was before marriage, a Miss Allison of Charleston, rhree grown children also survive, me son and two daughters. The ieceased was for many years a nember of the old Mount Hope Baptist church at Greelyville, where the funeral services were held Tuesiay morning, conducted by his pastor, Rev Mr Rankin, assisted by Rev W P Way, of the Methodist church, ind Rev Mr Brown,of the Presbyterian church. Interment was made in the old Mount Hope cemetery in the presence of a large concourse of ?riends. Mr Bradshaw was about 33 years of age.
