Benson, March 8: ?Mr John Yancev Tisdale of Black river, whose health had been failing for several Mr?ndnv Maroh fi_ at his UlVllWliOiUIVU iUVU4Mj( 7 old home near Central church. The j death of this noble-hearted, loyal son of Williamsburg is a matter of profound sorrow where he is best known and bound by the tenderest associations to numbers by kinship and life-long friendship. "Mr Yancey,"as he was familiarly known, was a ruling elder of Central Presbyterian church for a number of years. He was devoted to his church and faith- . ful to the Sunday-school. Innumerable were his deeds of charity, but being modest as a woman, his contributions to relieve the unfortunate or the sick were made without ostentation. As a man, Mr Tisdale was the soul i of honor and of genial temperament. ; He lived a quiet life and never married. He was about 72 w'rirs of age. i His body was quietly laid to rest in the old family ground near his home on Tuesday after his death, 1 and, notwithstanding the inclement weather, a large crowd gathered to pay their beloved friend, neighbor ( id unsellor their last sad tribute. For a great many years doctors pronounced it a local disease and prescribed local remedies, and by constantly failing to cure it with local treatment, pronounced it incurable. Science has proven catarrh to be a constitutional disease and therefore requires constitutional treatment. Hall's Catarrh Cure, manufactured by F J Cheney & Co,Toledo, Ohio, is the only constitutional cure on the market. It is taken internally in doses from 10 drops to a teaspoonful. It acts directly on the blood and mucous surfaces of the system. They offer one hundred dollars for any case it fails to cure. Send for circulars and testimonials.
