Vnurtplf hv Ht>Inino Ds. I ? We hope the friends of The Rec- ord, when thev come to town to do ] 1 g their trading, will patronize the busi- j f ness houses that advertise in this jc paper. Remember that without these liberal merchants, bankers and other enterprising business men, the price ^ of subscription would be at least $3 8 a year for such a paper as The Rec- ord. You'll find, as a rule, that the ^ men who advertise are wide-awake and on the alert and can give you'1 better bargains than those who do not advertise. This applies not only i to Kingstree, but many live and upto-date business men of Lake City,! j, Scranton and Greelyville recognize g the pulling power of an ad in The ^ Record. tf > :,i "I had been troubled with consti-^ pation for two years and tried all of I j, the best physic;ans in Bristol, Tenn. i< and they could do nothing for me," ; p Tt-nc K* Willinms Middleboro.
