Florence, August 5:?'The citizens of this city have deci[ded to have another Labor day celebration on September 2 and much interest and enthusiasm is being manifested in the project. 'Advertising matter is being distributed all over the country and the various co n.nittees are hard at work for the success of the celebration. It is safe to say that if the celebration are equally as good as the one held last year it will be a decided success. The day will be observed for the sake of the laboring classes and all departments of labor in the city have signified their intention of participating in the programme. Some of the features will be military * drills and sham battles, firemen's parades and reel races* horseraces, stock and poultry exhibitions, merchants' and trades display. Good music * will be furnished and there will tT also be some speech making from prominent orators. Everything" will be done for the comfort of the visitors and the Gate City is expecting one of the largest crowds that she has ever had to throng her streets.
