Yesterday morning at 8.30 o'clock a lively crowd left the home of Mr J B Clarkson for Lenud's Ferry, carrying with them all the dainties 1 to tempt one's appetite. On the way they made several stops of interest to 1 Mr UlarKsons ramny. nrst, we ^ stopped at the Sutton's Methodist church, where we had the pleasure 1 of gathering a scvenir from the family church, next we were greeted by "Old aunt Siller" the family servant, 1 who, when she saw three buggies and a carriage comir.g, full of "Missus Children," thoight the Yankees had come to rob her of her comfortable home among the pines. From there we visited the home of the late J W Clarksou and drank to the health of each one from the old moss-covered bucket. Those who were fortunate enough to attend were, Mr and Mrs J B Clarkson, Mrs J V Harris of Elberton Ga, Mr and Mrs B E Clarksou of Greelyville, Miss Lottie Clarkson of Nashville Tenu, Miss Julia K els of Heinemaun, Miss Madge Keels of Sumter and Mr Hil- . lard Clarkson of Nashville Teun, Lr the Dispensary.
