Miss Helen Scott, left recently for Columbia to continue her studies at the College for Women. Miss Era Guess of Salters, and Mr James Gibson of Harpers have gone to Bamberg to enter the Carlisle Fitting School. Prof George McCutchen, a member of the South Carolina College faculty, went to Columbia Saturday to be present at the opening of the . college this week. Messrs Dessie G;lland, A C Hinds, Tom McCutchen, and S A McCullough are among the young men from this county who are attending the South Carolina College this sess: iou.
