Parties wishing to subscribe to Tlifc Record mag do so by handing him their names along with amount of svbzcripfion. tf. " " To Those in Arrears. On account of the crop failure) last year many of our' subscribers ... * 3 were unable to pay us what they owed on the paper and we carried j them over to the present year. \ Realizing the general depression we did this cheerfully, without cutting off a single name, or even sending out statements. In order to do this we of course incurred a heavy expense, to offset which it is necessary . at this season to collect every cent wfi possibly can. Many frieuds of the paper, appre' c is ting the indulgence granted them, have come forward and paid their last year's account as well as this years, some of them paying up to 1904. Still there are, vout of the 1 M i;.v.A-u .i Knii t I ' I1VU 8U0SCnt?erH Ull Kill mnm?, a.ivui 300 who yet are in urrears for a year oY more. A dollar here and there 1 means but little to the individual subscriber, but to us it means a clear loss, of ^300 or more. The farmers of our county have been abundantly blessed this year with good crops of every kind and we do not .believe there is a single person on our books who could not pay what he owes if he would make! an effort to do so. There is very I little excuse for any one's not jmiug out this war, but if we have a , o > subscriber who is really unable to to pay what he owes, if he will ' frankly state the same to us, we will give him a receipt in full for his account. As usual we shall on January 1 revise our list and out off every sub scriber who is in arrears for a year or longer. We give this notice in anipje time, and as we desire to treat all alike, no one should be offended when we discoqtinue his paper in January. Meantime we hope that we shall have a response from every delinquent between now and the new year and not have to discontinue a single copv of the (paper. By special arrangement with the publishers we are able to offer The RECOKir in club with the Semi / Weekly News and Courier at $1.50 a year, in advance. Thus you can .get three pajK*rs a week, containing all the State and county news, for ft^the small sum f $1.50. Do not this opportunity. The County Record Free.
