The result of the election wi that upon the first ballot Cap Griffith received 71 votes, and bc fore tho vote was declarod over scoro of votes wore changed froi the other candidates to him and ha was declared elected. Miss Nannie Montgomery Wi elected State liorarianl and Mossr' A. K. Satiunders of Sumter, T. , Cunningham of Chester and W. 'I Odell of Pickons wore electul direm tors of tto Ienitentiary. - But the closest contest oA all wi the vote for member of the Stai bo'ard of control to succeed M r. J. If any licensee shall violate any of the conditions of his bond it shall be forfeited, his license revoke(d and no license shall be thorcafter granted to such offender. No license shall be granted for less than one thou sand dollars per annum, nor for a longer period than one year, the fees to be paid in advance.
