Tidwell's on Thursday evening was quite a success. Quite a large crowd was present, all of whom seemed to enjoy themselves very much indeed. The lovers of Terpsichore indulged in their favorite pastime seemingly to their heart's con tent. Indeed the dancing was kept up until the approach of the wee sma' hours of the night reminded all that the time for departure had arrived. Quite a snug sum was realized from the sale of the supper amounting to a $21.75. This money will be used to 1 purchase desks for the upper school house. Miss Martha W. Mobley, Mlss Sue Crawford and Mr. D. A. Crawford, of Winnsboro, spent Thursday night at Mr. S. L. Dixon's. Misses Lila and Bessie Stewart, of Greenbrier, are visiting relatives in Longtown.
