Sw On the afternoon of the 11th inst. during the rain, the citizens of Rlidgoway were surprised at the piovel spectacle of a fawn running through the town. ,The animal had evidently boon chased from its haunts, and'losing its bearings ran through Means street, thence up Church stroot, and dowvn Palmer street, and up the Rocky Mount ro,ad.
