The Conference met on Saturday morning, and procee1od to a dis cussion of the sub)ject of Christian JEducation. Add.resses wiere de livered by Rev. Juo. T. Wightman, president of the hoard of trustees -of the Columbia Jiemaleo follege, by Rev. J. Walter Dickson, a professor in the same institution, and by Rev. W. WV. Duncan, ia member of the faculty of Woff'ord College. These addresses were all able and inter esting, and commanded an attentivp hearing from those present. The services at night were cone slucted by Rev. 3. WV. Kelly, who )ikewise deliycred the sermon. The services on Sunday morning were introduced with a Love 'Feast at the Methodist Church, at 9 o'clock, Rev. A. B. Brown presid. ing. TW.e different pulpilts -wor..o filled by members of the Confer ence-Rev. W. W. Duncan preach,. ing at the lylethodist churQh, Rev. Samuel Leard at the Presbyterian church, and Rev. J. T. Clyde at the Associate Reformed Presbyterian elhurch. In th~e afternoon there was a sunday School Mass Moeting, conducted by Dr. Moymgardio. Ad dresses were delivered by Master Charles Meynardie. Mr. J. A. Elkin, Rev. Samuel Leard and Rev. W. W. Duncan. The singing of t110 children was peculiarly fine. At six o'clock there was the customary meeting of the Young Men's Christian AFEsoiation. Mr. J. A. Elkcin conducted the services, and addresses were deliver,ed by him and by Dr. Meynardie. The usual services were held at night at th.e Methodist .church, Reov. J. E. Carlisle coinducing the service and preaching the sermon. Before the benediction wvas pronoumced, Dr'. Meynardie, as Presiding Elder, ex pressed in feeling ternas thW grati tudo of the miembers of th.o Confor, once for the hospitality extended to them by the citizens of WjoMboro and vi~cinity, and bade an affetio'. ate farewell to his brpthren of the Con~ferenlce and to the peonle with~ liom they had boon thrown in coasant, communion.
