A v; \ &v • \ i •' ' V V T- 1 I I * fiMF " ’ Poison every three or four days apart and plow the cotton as often as possible. Pick up the punctured squares. Even those who have a light infestation should do this, but those who have a heavy infestation should go to work at once and within ten or twelve days thety should have the situation under control, provided there is no rainy spells. If you do not do this and a rainy spell comes you will have little chance of con trolling the weevil. A few years ago the farmer was at the mercy of the Boll Weevil, so far as cotton was concerned, but that was before the days when a practical efficient method of fight ing the weevil was devised. Now the farmer can practically assure himself of a normal crop under weevil conditions by using his head and poisoning as directed by the Gov ernment Agencies who-have been studying the weevil situation for years, and who have up to this time demonstrated the almost certain weevil control by the use of * • % Calcium Arsenate. This story has been a good one in the years past, but it doesn’t go now. v . ■ ' • . * Every Banker or Supply Man will know the reason that the Farmer failed to save his cotton - or make as near normal crop as could be made - was on account of his lack of poisoning or doing all he could to control the weevill Every banker and supply man knows that if the proper efforts are made by the application of Calcium Arsenate that the farmer will protect his crop as far as humanly possible and that he is doing what is necessary to make a crop.
