The lower floor of her spacious country hon^e was thrown together and* progressive contests were enter ed into. After much merriment the postman’s whistle was heard. All rushed to the door to get the mail; upon returning and opening same a lovely infection of handkerchief* was giyet\ the honored guest. A delicious salad course with iced ten was served. The hostess p re sent- f ,’ss Cook with a dainty handkev- and memo book, in which all tered. Miss Creech received the highest score and was given a hand kerchief novelty, which she in turn ^ presented to the bride-to-be. Cook-Brabham Engagement.
