Savannab, Oa.—Human musicians will not be the only songsters entertain ing visitors to tbe 1925 Georgia State Pair, which opens at Savannah on Oc tober 26 ami runs through October SL There will be feathery musicians as well, especially /canary birds, whlcb^ will be on exhibition in the annual canary show as a feature of the pu stock division of the poultry and pigeon department. In the opinion of the managemeat, canary birds can he produced and mar keted profitably; in fact, there is quite ; an industry now in which canaries are bred and sold as a money-making business in Savannah and other places in this territory. The industry. II H, felt, is entitled to expansion, and, therefore, a canary bird department has been made a part of the State Fair program. * ~ - There will be a special space for the display of the canaries, and tbo premiums will be awarded, both for winners in the Savannah contests and in the general contests.
