Hinges on Weather. The coming of the cadets tomor row hinges, however, upon weather conditions. Col. J. M. Cummins, commandant, who wa3 in the city yes terday looking after matters in con- , nection with the encampment, slated the final decision as to whether the cadets would encamp this week would be made Sunday, when lie would be able to tell with more certainty what weather conditions are likely to be during the proposed stay of the cadets in Anderson. If it is found necessary to call off the encampment on account of un favorable weather, the event will be postponed not longer tban a week. Col. Cummings 3tated. The commandant stated that it would not be wise to hold the en campment during a season of unfav I orablc weather, or, in other* words, I it would be dangerous to hrlng the , tlie cadets nut of steam-heated bar racks and quarter them in tents in such weather as Anderson experienc ed yesterday. Schedule Thinned. If it is decided today that the en campment will be held beginning to morrow, the cadet corps will icave Clemson College early Monday morn ing and march as far as Sandy , Springs, where the-.- will have dinner. At this station the cadets will entrain for Anderson. Special acre will he at ' Sandy Springs to bring them to the ' city. .Upon the arrival bf the cadets here about 1 o'clock they will be toct by a reception committee, consisting of thc , following citizens: ' P. B. Cray ton, chairman; Capt. ' R. J. Ramcr. P. E. Burries, Pur- : man Smith, T. Krank Watkins, W. ? L. Brlssey, Dr. Clyde F. Poss, Dr. I A. L. Smethcrs, Harry Orr, C. H. * Bleich, A-, M. Of ficers' of Clemson College will come along with the cadets and take part \ in the encampment. , The program to. bo followed during . the week is published in another , column of today's Intelligencer. There are several interesting fea tures to the program, the most In- 1 teresting of which, so far as the gen- ' eral public ia concerned, are the ' dress parade and the bond concert, 1 which will be given Thursday after noon and ^vening respectively, on the public square. ' Entertainment. I During their stay in Anderson the < cadete' will be shown various social j attentions. Manager C. H.
