The greetings between the gentlemen were cordial, and after a brief conversation Governor Cleveland led the way into his private room, where be remained closeted with Mr Kelly for twenty-five minutes. At Mr Kelly, accompanied by Senator Cullcn and Mr. Spinola, left the hotel, and the Governor and his party ascended to the balcony to roview the procession. At this time the crowd outside extend.ed clear across the street, fsr back npon the grass in the square, and from Twenty-second to Twenty-fourth streetii? a dense masa of fully 15,(XXI persons. As Mr. Cleveland stepped npon the oaicony mo lull glnre of a calcium light h ub thrown upon liin face, and the crowd raised a mighty shout, which lasted for fivo minutes. The crowd meanwhile stayed patiently and awaited the coming of the procession, the torches of which w?rr> seen up the avenue.
