f I j TIME FOR MAKING | INCOME RETURNS The Collector of Internal Revenue f is in receipt of a telegram calling atl ter^m to Treasury Decision just f ?ig|Cd number 2883 which grants ex>V tension *of time to August the 15th j for filing returns, to partnerships and personal service corporations j having a fiscal year ended on January jj:, 31st, February 28th, March 31st, or j| April 30th, 1919. ' The Collector states that a large ft, number of corporations had as yet ' failed to file returns for the year 1918, There seems to be some con';j; fusion in the minds of partnerships relative to the filing of returns for L 1918. The 1917 Law did not require fc: ^ partnerships to file returns, where r-V the net income accruing to the partly. nership was less than $0,000. The I Acta of February 1919 requires all tjgt 9 partnerships regardless of the I amount of net income, to file rep turns for the year 1918 and such Uf partnerships having failed to file ML* such returns should do so promptly, fr attaching affidavits as to the de/ ^inquency, and the reason for such I; ' delay. 1 Some farms wore needing rain again by the middle of last week. ^D. It's mercuyi Calomel acts like dynamite on a slug- 1 gish liver. When calomel comes into ^ contact with sour bile it crashes into it, causing cramping and nausea. If you feel bilious, headachy, con- ' stipated and all knocked out, just go \ to your druggist and get a bottle of Podson's Liver Tone for a few cents, which is a harmless vegetable substitute for dangerous calomel. Take a spoonful and if it doesn't start your liver and straighten you up better and quicker than nasty calomel and without making you sick, you just go back and get your money. If you take calomel today you'll be sick and nauseated tomorrow; besides, it may salivate you, while you take Podson's Liver Tone you will wake up feeling great, full of ambition and ready for work and play. It's harmless, pleasant anc safe to give to children; they like it ?adv. o The State Sinking Fund Commission in the insurance department has made a net profit during tho first sh: months of the year of $17,193.74. o ?? the Quinine That Does Not Affect tin Hoad Ueccuse of its tonic find laxative eifcct, LAXATIVE WROMO QUININE is better than ordinary Quinine and does not cause nervousness nor ringing in head. Gaston, of this place, writes: "I am a user of Thedford's Black-Drauflrht: in fact. It was one of our family medicines. Also in my mother's home, when I was a child. "When any of us children complained of headache, usually caused by constipation, she gave us a dose of Black-Draught, which would rectify the trouble. Often in the Spring, we would have malar! , and chills, or troubles of this kir.J, we would take Black-Draught pretty regular until the liver acted well, and i we would soon be up and around again. Wo would not be without it, for it certainly has saved us lots of | uOClOr uiiia. Juk t a lioae o? BlackDraught when not so well saves a lot of days in bed." | Thedford's Black-Draught has been In use for many years In the treatment of stomach, liver and bowel troubles, and tho popularity which it now enjoys Is proof of Its merit. If your liver is not doing its duty, you will suffer from such disagreeable symptoms as headache, biliousness, constipation, indigestion, etc., and unless something is done, serious trouble may result. Thedford's Black-Draught has been found a valuable remedy for these troubles. It is purely vegetable, and acts in a prompt and natural way, regulating the liver to its proper functions and cleansing the bowels of impurities. Try it.
