The death angel visited the home of J F Hardee and took away his son, Nathan, on the 2nd Sunday in March, and on the 3rd Sunday the home of Mrs Sarah Causee was darkened by the presence of the grim reaper. On the 4th Sunday Mrs Mary Jane Todd fell asleep, This makes three deaths in three weeks in sight of each other. These events made sad times in the community. Little Nathan was 12 years, 9 months and 5 days old. He was the idol of the family, A loving one trcm us is gone, The voice we loved is stilled, A place made vacant in our home, Which never can be filled.
