Keaolu tions were drafted and presented to the Syuod which were considered and discussed at length. la this dis cussion it was not dimhf seen, that the honest conviction of Synod was, that Newberry is the place. These resolution* were followed by a sub stitnte which was adopted, to wit t Rmolred, Hist the exercise* of Newberry College tie opened at Wal balls, and lie continued there at least until the nrxt regular meeting of the fkwith Carolina Synod, when proposals will be entertained for its removal to a more suitable location.
