Carroll Lybrand of New Brookland, to Provost Marshall Crowder, at Washington for appointment on the exemption board for Lexington county in place of Holly L. Harman, who was excused from serving on the board because of a new ruling issued by the war department within the last few days that no man within the age for the draft can serve on an ex emption board. LITTLE MOUNTAIN REUNION. The annual reunion of students, exstudent and friend of Newberry college, for Newberry and Lexington counties, will be held at Little Mountain on Friday, August 3. Several speakers will be on hand to address the crowd. The barbecue will be furnished by the authorities of the Little Mountain High School. Mr. Sidney Steele, for many years head clerk in the store of Meetze & Son, is confined to his home by illness, much to the regret of a great many friends. He is being missed at his post, and everybody hopes for him an early restoration and a return to his duties.
