Smoak, who has been editor and manager of the Anderson Daily Intelligencer since last October, has resigned his position and ) leaves Saturday for his old home at Walterboro to assume active charge " again of the Press and Standard. Mr. Smoak came to Anderson the last - of October, 1912, from Madisonville, Ky., to assume the management of . the Intelligencer.
