Judge Prince has been circuit judge for one term and was elected at the recent session of the general assembly for another term. He is 54 years old, and up to now has been in excellent health. He was out yesterday and did not complain. To night Judge Prince is able to articulate slightly and is able to move slightly his right arm and right leg. Pitts Painfully Wounded by L. B. Sample. Saluda, March 22.?On Saturday afternoon in the Bethany section of this county L. B. Sample shot his brother-in-law, J. D. Pitts, in the yard of the latter. The trouble, it appears, grew out of some difference of a petty nature. Both parties are white. Sample is a brother of the superintendent of education of this county and an uncle of this county's sheriff. Pitts married the sister of L. R Samnle. Dr. Kirksey, who was called to attend the wounded man says he is shot from foot to head. The weapon used was a double barreled, old-time deer gun and the load consisted of No. 1 shot. The wonder is that the j shots, for it seems Sample shot Pitts twice, did not kill instantly. As it is, he is painfully but not necessarily dangerously wounded. Personal Mention. ?Mr. E. P.
