Mr. Powell, who was about 60 yea r s old, is survived by his widow, former ly a Miss Webb, two married children, Joe Powell and Mrs. D. H. Stringfield. and five younger children, all of the; Williston community. One of his sons, Tom Powell, is in the United States navy.
