But thr beat sight of all was the Colonel’s pnae corn contest three aero' field that so many have admired and envied. The corn was planted, fertil ized and cultivated on the WillUmnou plan, with Creeeh Improvements added and helping. The seed was of the Ma son variety, the ear* smaller than the p>Polaroid gourd seed, bot heavier and more numerous, the short stalks hooding beneath their golden weight.
