SECOND CROP IRISH POTATOES. If one could get a good stand of po tatoes August 1> to 80, thefo would be no ddubtns to an abundant yield, pro vided there were Shower* in’Septemher. Now and then one may secure a stand but planting the potatoes ak they are taken from the ground will seldom give good result*. The best way is to take up your potatoes when mature. Place them in a oool, dark place and spread thin and let them dry about two week*. 11 you wish to plant one Hush- el, select two bushel*' of tbe potatoes and bed them out in a good place. Cover with a layer of leave* or straw and then put two or three inches of dirt on them.
