Mr. Newberry is Court JoyCeetts Gove Christmos Party Last Wednesday Santa Claus travels in many unusual ways but when he ar rived via ^scooter-bike” at the party the JayCeetts gave for the JayCeea last Wedensday evening that made news. Over a hundred JayCees and their ladiea attended this Christ mas affair the first in a series planned by this newly organized unit of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. The recreational hall at Wood ward Airport, which has been leased to the JayCees, was beau tifully decorated in the Yuletide spirit with an 18-foot Christmas tree lavishly a homed with col ored lights and ornaments and piled high with humorous gifts for eveiyone. At each end of the lounge Yule logs blazed in huge fire places. Holly, pine and Christmas berries were used in profusion on the mantels and on the tables, and colored lights in all the chandeliers made an at tractive scene. Supper was served buffet style from the snack bar and the menu included baked Virginia ham, cold roast of beef, beaten biscuits, potato salad, potato chips, assort ed cheese and crackeres, pickles,* olives and coffee.
