The convention whteii met at Sham rock church Saturday and Sunday, last, was a great one. A large number were present to hear the addresses which were of a high order, "both interesting and instructive. The one by Miss ElisiaWth Nichols, of Columbia, was very fine. She dealt in the training and bringing wp the little children from one year up, illustrating her re marks by pictures. The people of Shamrock were both hospitable and kind and the delegates certainly enjoy ed their stay pmong them. A fine and bountiful dinner was served Saturday. Enough for the large crowd and to spare. There were several invitations for next meeting. The one from Cedar Qreek cliur<fh near Bishopville was ac cepted. Resolutions of thanks were passed to tho people of Shamrock for the kind hospitality and to Mr. J. S. j Sturgis for his untiring efforts to make the meeting a success, in which he suc ceeded.
