By siHVial Invitation i attended the Buckhlll' school closing exercises of Lontftown, Friday night and delivered , llie annual address t<^ tue school and its patrons and friends. The exercises were very good an<l the music render <h1 was exceptionally pleasing. The pupils recited well and exhibited much care and thoroughness on the part of the teachers. But something more tangible of excellent work was seen ill the industrial exhibit. This exhibit consisted of a floor rug. little baskets, flower vases, handkerchiefs, and other things some which can he seen in the front window of the People's phar macy in Camden. f>r. J. I'. Pickett was present also and made an address. We urged the people to buy War r Savings., certificates and thrift stamps and do their full duty in winning the war. The patrons took a public col* | lection of about $8 to assist in .supple menting their school term one month. This represents good work and some appreciation of the serviees (?f a good teacher..
