It is my intention to publish during the Summer a report of all the work done in the office, sinco I liavo been Supt. of Education for thin County. I think this is due to tho people who biWe entrusted me with tho super vision of thoir schools. I will en deavor to mako the report eo mplete by Riving full statist ics showing the disbursements for all purposes from each Bchool district, and hope (hat judgment will bo suspended until all the records are in. I am willing to meet criticism based upon a know* ledge of facts, and to ask no favors where blame is due; but I <V? object to being misquoted and misrepre sented by peoplo who act from base and selfish motives. * * ? The individual school depends, of course, chiefly upon the individual teacher, but the schools of a County depend chiefly upon tho efficiency of ?^ithe Co. Superintendent. He it is who sets the standard for the Coun ty. Wherever there is found an ef ficient Co. Superintendent, a mana ger of a set of teachers, there are found good teachers and good schools.
