Garden Clubs Sponsor Decorating Contest The Garden Clubs of Clinton will g.xmsor a Christmas Decorating Contest this year All persons within a four mile ra dius of the square in Hinton are eligible to enter. There will be four cash prizes given for the home decorations— two for a religious theme and two for a non-rehgious theme. Two prizes of euqal value to the home prizes will also be awarded to the businesses for their decorations. Entry blanks will appear in the November 17 issue of The Chron icle and will be available after this date at all drug stares. Deadline for entering the contest is December 5 and all entries should be mailed in by midnight of that day. Golding Dies; Was Merchant In Waterloo Many Years Edward Van Golding, 77, retired merchant of Waterloo, died Wed nesday at 6:30 a m at a Green wood hospital after a short illness.
