Whitmire and little son, Jerry of Old Hickory, Tenn., are spending two weeks with the former’s mother, Mrs. P. E. Riley. Maudie Young will leave today to spend several days in Raleigh, N. C., where she will be the guest of Mar garet Dick. Friends of the J. M. Dick family will be interested to know they will return home with Maudie to occupy their apartment on South Broad street for some time. C. T.
