;T.1 . .VERY WEDNESDAY. AOTICE -OF ELECTION, -FOR STATE AND COUNTY OFFICERS, STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA, CLARENOON COUNTY. AN ELECTION WILL BE HELD at the several precincts established by law in Clarendon County, or Tnesday. November 3rd, 1896, for the following offleers, to wit: Governor, Lieutenant-Governor, Secretary ol State, Attorney-General, Comp troller-Genera, Adjutant and In spector General, State Treasurer, State Superintendent of Education, one Railroad Commissioner, three Representatives to the Lower Brane of the Legislature, one Circuil Solicitor, one Clerk of Court one Sheriff, one Superin tendent of Education,one Supervisor one Coroner. The polls will open at 7 o'clocl a. M. and close at 4 o'clock, p. m, At the close of the election the managers shall immediately proceed to publicly count the ballots. With in three days thereafter the Chair man of the Board of Managers, oi one of them,- to be designated i writing by the Board, shall delivei to the Commissioners of Election thi poll list, the boxes containing th( ballots, and a written statement o the result of the election at his pre einct. AN ELECTION WILL BE HELD on Tuesday, the 3rd day of Novem ber, 1896, at the legally established polling precincts in Clarendon coun ty, for a Representative of the 6th Congressional District of South Car lina, in the 55th Congress of the United States. The polls will be opened at 7 o'clock a. m., and kept open without intermission or ad'ournment until 4 o'clock p. m. At the close of the election the Managers shall immediately proceed to publicly count the ballots.
