TWICE A WEEK, $2.00 A YEAR f PERSONAL PARAGRAPHS PROSPEROUS PROSPERITY Prosperity, Nov. 27.?impressive rerviees were held at Grace Lutheran church Sunday evening when Rev. S. W. Hahn was installed pastor. A congregation that filled the church attended the installation ceremonies.Rev. H. J. Black, president of the South Carolina Lutheran synod, preached the sermon, delivering the charge to both the pastor and church. Special music was rendered by tfte choir. Sunday morning: Rev.^Biack installed the Rev. J. L. Cromer at Mt. Tabor, and again Sunday afternoon at St. Lukes installation services were held for Rev. E. H. Seckinger. Rev. R. E. Sharp, who conies as pastor of the Methodist church heie from Rockton. conducted his first sei*vices Sunday. He began his new pastorate with two strong sermons when ; he was heard by large audiences at both'Zion and Wightman churches. L Friday, December 1st, the Reedy I River W. M. U. will meet here at the I Baptist church. The William Lester chapter U. D. C., will nold their December meeting Friday afternoon at 3:30 with Mrs. J. L. May as hostess. The children's chapter will meet Saturday Afternoon at 4 o'clock with Mit-ooc and Catherine Werts. J Colic Duncan, three year old negro boy, was instantly killed\rrichiy afternoon by A. Y. Spearman, a n^gro boy of 13 years. The accident occurred at A. G. Wise's plantation about two miles above Prosperity The older bc-.y picked up a gun which a negro man, Edd Wallace, had put down on tbe,pcr-th v.Th*n ?if? wont into ?he house.
