Frankfort was crowded yesterday from !> a. m. to 7 i?. ?i. with visitors from all parts of the surround in; country, who were here to see Howes' Great London Circus. For once, we are pleased to bo able to say, that ibis "big show" came up to its advertised promises. Everybody agreed that, the parade through the st reets was by far the finest, longest, and largest ever before seen. It was simply gor. gcous,aiul seemingly almost intermin able. It was also universally con ceded that il was the newest, the most complete and magnificent, in all its appointments that has eve r yet visited Central Kentucky. The Circus, Menagerie, the Hippodrome, the Golden Chariots, everything, was first rate in its kind.
