Nicholson in the death of their little child, Una, which occurred on Saturday last Una was a sweet little girl, about two years and six months^old. Mrs Itebecca Mcf.ain, wife of our popular barber, Goorgo McLain, ( died at her home in Camden on Mon- I day morning. 2nd inst. She was ; about 40 years of age, was a consistent member of the colored M. E. Church, and was well liked by nil who knew her, both white nnd 1 colored. She wa3 the mother of 12 ' children, the youngest one being a babe only a few days old < The Conference Reception Committee. Mrs. Ann Nettles, relict of the late Mr. Jesse 8. Nettles, died at the residence of her son, Mr. Edward S. Nettle?. in Kirk wood, on 8 a turd a j las', in her eighty-first year. Her funeral was preached at the baptist Church by Rev. P. V. bo mar on Sunday rooming, and was attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends. Mrs. Nettles was one of the oldest members of the Camden Baptist church, having been baptised in 1856. and she died as she had lived, a truly consistent and demoted Christian woman, and with a rull assurance of a glorious resurrtciion.
