While i;e was in jail it appears that jis wife was alone. The latter part Df last week she was heard to scream and a man was seen leaving her bouse, who was reported to have said: "If you tell this I will kill you.'' This man was recognized as Thomas Brisbane, and he is now in jail, having been arrested on Monday morning, charged with an outrageous assault on Ben Perkins' wife. Brevities.
