Steps have, however, been taken that will remedy the difficulty; the Spanish Minister in Washington having written to his Government, giving an unqualified denial of the charge. itr From Hon. B. Sand#:?Having suffered many year? wit n a disease of my thrior, affecting the 4arynx, during which time I was treated by the most distinguished plivs cians in Europe and the Ignited States, without receiving any permanent benefit, but all I lie time my general neaiin arm sirengin declining, and the disease making fearful progress: caustic applications were used, and whatever else was thought most efficient for producing a cure ; v I but I am confident the deplorable situation I was in, the laryngitis being accompanied with phthisis and great difficulty iu breathing, would soon have terminated in/ life, hao I not obtained relief through the medium of your invaluable Sarsaparilla. I must say, gentlemen, when I commenced using' the Sarsaparilla I did not place much confidence in its virtues , and this will notsurprise you, when you are informed I bad tried more than fifty differ- ^ ent remedies during the past four years, without any success; but after taking your Sarsaparilla a few weeks, 1 was obliged at last to yield toevidence. This marvellous specific has not only relieved, but cured me ; and I therefore think it my duty, gentlemen, for the benefit of suffering humanity, to give you this attestation ofiny cure* Yours very truly, D.
